The annual meeting of Loma Topkie Property Owners Association was held on Monday, November 7, 1988 at the home of Elizabeth and Jack Welsh.
Those in attendance were:
Lee and Olin Philips
Elizabeth and Jack Welsh
Mildred and Don Corsette
Mary Rita and Horacio Shakespear
Marc Spector
Herb and Betty Martin
Secretary Betty Martin read the minutes of our last meeting, together with the Treasurer's report. Motion was made by Elizabeth Welsh, seconded by Don Corsette, that the minutes and treasurer's report be accepted as presented.
Mr. Shakespear mentioned that there are other subdivisions that have a "Private" sign on their roads, and that if possible, it would be nice to have a sign up; he stated that Bill Hogan offered to help pay for a sign. Discussion followed. Elizabeth suggested that we write to Sedona City Mayor, Pat Pomphrey, about the status of our road. Motion made by Olin Philips, seconded by Lee Philips, that Secretary write a letter to Sedona City Mayor. Passed.
Jack mentioned that perhaps someone else should be on the Architectural committee; Don Corsette volunteered and will join Elizabeth and Herb on this committee.
Elizabeth suggested that inasmuch as we have a substantial amount in the savings account ($1,227.53) that we not contribute our dues this year. Olin suggested that we wait to see what the city informs us about the road and made motion pending answer to our letter re: status of the road. Seconded by Herb and passed.
Everyone paid their annual dues except Anna May Cory; $350.00 was turned over to the Treasurer.
Olin made motion to adjourn, seconded by Jack. Meeting adjourned about 4:45.
Respectfully submitted:
