The annual meeting of Loma Topkie Property Owners Association was held on Tuesday, November 12, 1985 at the home of Lee and Olin Philips.
Those in attendance were:
Lee and Olin Philips
Kel and Madge LeMaster
Elizabeth and Jack Welsh
Herb and Betty Martin
George and Nilah Allen were unable to attend.
President Philips called the meeting to order. Minutes of last year's meeting were read. Motion made by Elizabeth Welsh, seconded by Lee Philips that the minutes be approved as read; motion was passed.
The Treasurer stated that we have $388.54 in our savings account. Annual dues of $50.00 for each parcel were paid by those present to the Treasurer.
Olin said he obtained a bid for putting a seal coat on our road in the neighborhood of $2,400.00. It was felt that although it would be a good idea to have this protection applied, we will have to wait a while. There is a temporary measure using a pressure tool to fix the breaks in the pavement. Olin said he would look into this matter.
Olin read a letter they received from Mr. DeMichele of APS in Phoenix regarding the unsightly power lines, the gist of the letter being that they aren't going to do anything about the problem.
There being no further business, motion was made by Herb Martin, seconded by Kel LeMaster, that meeting be adjourned. A wonderful potluck and visit followed our meeting.
Respectfully submitted:
