An informal meeting was held Thursday evening, March 12, 1981, at the home of Lee and Olin Philips.
Those property owners in attendance were:
Lee and Olin Philips (Lot # 6)
Elizabeth and Jack Welsh (Lot # 2)
Kel LeMaster (Lot # 4)
Nilah and George Allen (Lot # 7)
Herb and Betty Martin (Lots # 1 and #8)
Those unable to attend were
Esther and Albert Shontz (Lot # 3)
Dolores and Jack McLaughlin (Lot # 5).
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss forming a property owners association to consist of the property owners in order to take care of future problems and situations that may arise here in Loma Topkie; such as the desirability of having a fire hydrant on the property and taking care of any road problems that may arise in the future, etc.
George Allen suggested that all the property owners should agree to forming this property owners association, and those present were in agreement. It was suggested that a letter or "agreement" be prepared and mailed to each lot owner to be signed by the lot owner, or their representative.
Olin Philips suggested that we contact the Yavapai County Attorney to see what legal requirements are necessary to form such an association. George Allen volunteered to contact the county attorney for us and prepare the necessary letter or "agreement" to be signed by the lot owners.
Herb Martin reported that Olin Philips is a member of the architectural committee, along with Herb and Betty Martin.
All in attendance felt that we should have a fire hydrant, and this matter is to be followed up on.
Meeting closed about 8:25 p.m.
